  • I started using trekking poles more regularly because some of my walking routes have long inclines and uneven paths. These feel light without being flimsy, and the adjustable sections make it easy to find a comfortable length. The flip locks are particularly convenient when I need to make a quick adjustment.

       Built Strong, Made to Last

Cheap poles bend, wobble and lose their grip after a few hikes. Cragline is made from strong, lightweight aluminum with secure quick-lock levers that stay put under your weight, so your poles feel just as solid on your hundredth hike as on your first

Set Up in Seconds, Ready to Hike

Unfold the sections, flip open the lock, slide to your height and snap it shut. That’s it. No twisting, no guessing, and no fiddly parts. When you’re done, fold them back down and slip them into the carry bags.

One Pair of Poles, Every Kind of Trail

Swap the tip to match the ground. The tungsten steel tips bite into rock and ice, the trail baskets stop the poles sinking into mud and snow, and the rubber boot tips grip roads and pavement. One set of poles takes you from the car park to the summit.

      What Our Customers Say

      Excellent 4.8 / 5

      • Lightweight Without Too Much Fuss

I didn't want bulky poles that would be awkward to carry when the trail became easier. These are lightweight, adjust without much effort and fold down for storage. The aluminum construction feels practical for regular hiking, and the carry bags are a nice addition for keeping everything together between adventures.

      • Handy for Changing Trail Conditions

My usual routes alternate between flatter paths and steeper sections, so being able to change the pole length is useful. I shorten them for climbs and extend them for descents. The poles are easy to fold away when I don't need them, and the different tips and baskets add flexibility for outdoor use.

      • Good Grip and Practical Design

What I like most is the combination of the foam handles and adjustable wrist straps. I can hold the poles comfortably without gripping them too tightly, which matters on longer walks. The locking mechanism is easy to understand, and the compact folding design makes them practical to keep in the car.

Why Choose Cragline Trekking & Hiking Poles?

The last pair of poles your hikes will need

        Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Cragline poles are made for both: easy day hikes, steep mountain trails, long multi-day treks and everyday walking.

No. The flip-lever locks clamp firmly around the pole and hold steady under your weight. If they ever feel loose, turn the small tension knob on the lock to tighten them

Flip open the lock, slide the pole until your elbow sits at roughly a right angle while holding the grip, then snap the lock shut. Go a little shorter for uphill and a little longer for downhill.

Use the bare tungsten tip for rock, ice and hard dirt; the trail baskets for mud, sand and snow; the rubber boot tips for roads and pavement; and the rubber caps for indoor floors or when packing the poles away

Many hikers find they do. Poles take some of the load off your legs on climbs and descents and give you extra balance on uneven ground.

They collapse down compact enough to fit inside most backpacks, suitcases and carry-ons, and they come with carry bags to keep them tidy.

Slide your hand up through the strap from underneath, then rest your grip lightly on the handle. Let the strap carry the load so you don’t have to squeeze the grip.
